London’s Masked Club Queen
Stella Marbles is a mask designer, creative director, events producer and queer performance artist.
As a creative director, Stella’s work has spanned the music, fashion, lifestyle and entertainment industries, collaborating with artists and brands to create unique multimedia experiences and content that bring diverse LGBTQ+ talent into campaigns and the public eye.
Alongside their creative direction, Stella is also an experienced stylist, editor and graphic designer, working with small businesses, charities and activist groups. Their otherworldly masks have been featured on the catwalks of many rising designers and in the press, including Hunger, The Telegraph and Noctis Magazine.
Stella produces a range of club nights and immersive nightlife events in London, showcasing alternative drag and queer performance art. Most notable is their monthly club night and brand: COOKIE JAR. Held at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, Cookie Jar is an inclusive space for queer misfits and mavericks, celebrating drag and performance art by trans and women creatives IRL and online, with a Youtube Channel and a digital community platform.
Stella’s unique mask-based performance art has showcased around the world, from NYC’s Bushwig Festival to Tate Britain, and regularly takes the stage in London’s renowned clubs and cabaret spaces.
